Five Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) students were among seven finalists of the virtual International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) held last week by the nonprofit organization Society for Science & the Public and the biotechnology company, Regeneron.
M-DCPS is the county host for the competition, which includes both public and private schools. The other two student winners are from Westminster Christian. Listed below are the five M-DCPS finalists who were also among the winners of the 65th annual South Florida Regional Science and Engineering Fair.

The finalists, chosen from amongst the District’s top science fair projects at the 2020 EXPO, were able to virtually present their science fair projects along with thousands of students from around the world.
In addition to being the top regional winners, the finalists are now considered Society alumni and will have their abstracts published online in the ISEF Project database.
