The Office of Public
Relations works toward the
following goals:
- to enhance the image of
Miami-Dade County Public Schools as a purveyor of
educational excellence and choice from prekindergarten
to adult and vocational education
- to enhance the image of
Miami-Dade County Public Schools as a responsible,
efficient guardian of taxpayers' dollars
- to enhance accessibility
of citizens (particularly parents) to public information
about Miami-Dade County Public Schools
- to encourage
parent–school contact, involvement and confidence
- improve communications
with and boost morale of employees, and improve communication with
and boost morale and performance of students
