Miami-Dade County School Board Member Betsy Kaplan has been selected
as one of two school board members in the country to participate in a
press conference on the Reauthorization of the Elementa~ and
Secondary Education Act. The press conference will be held Tuesday,
Feb. 2, at 10 a.m. in the Zenger Room of the National Press Club, 529
14 Street N.W., Washington' D.C. Kaplan serves on National School
Boards Association's Steering Committee of the Council of Urban
School Boards.
