TO HOLD ORIENTATION WORKSHOP
ON SCHOOL FEEDER PATTERNS

The Council of Advisory Committees of Miami-Dade County Public Schools will hold its third annual feeder pattern orientation workshop on Saturday, Mar. 6, at North Miami Beach Senior High School, 1247 N.E. 167 St.

Participants will be provided complementary transportation on school buses departing American, Braddock, Miami Central, Hialeah, Homestead, and South Miami senior high schools at 7 a.m.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., and a free continental breakfast will be available prior to the first session, which begins at 9 a.m. General and break-out sessions will cover topics such as developing leadership qualities, running effective meetings, and involving the local community.

A free box lunch will be provided at midday, followed by a final small-group session ending at 1:30 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to share insights, explore trends, define goals and objectives, and find solutions to issues impacting education, according to Dr. Joseph Burke, District Director, Division of USI Mathematics and Science.
