The Miami-Dade school system's American Federation of State, County
and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Employee of the Year will be
named on Friday, November 19, at a 10 a.m. ceremony, at Signature
Gardens, 12725 S.W. 122 Avenue.
The nominees are: Doris Ophelia Bain, Transportation; Willie Mae
Bradley, Food Service; Yolanda Y. Nixon, Maintenance; Samantha
Thomas, General Services; and Annie Bostic, Plant Operations
(Custodial).
