Earl Davis, an Intergroup Relations specialist in the school district's Multicultural Programs, recently was named winner of the Fourth Annual Green Family Foundation American Values Award. The program is managed by the United Way of Miami-Dade.

Davis was selected by a blue-ribbon panel of judges for his outstanding record of public and voluntary service to the community. He will receive the award and $5,000 at a special dinner on Wednesday, Mar. 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the Biltmore Hotel, 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables.
