Art Museum, 101 West Flagler Street.

businesses.

director of the Miami Art Museum. Moderating the discussion will be
Dr. John Brademas, chair of the President's Committee and president
emeritus of New York University. The executive director of the
committee is Harriet Mayor Fulbright.
Other panelists will include Superintendent of Schools Roger C.
Cuevas; Lilia Garcia, district director of the arts programs in
Miami-Dade County Public Schools; Rhoda Levitt, chair of the Florida
Arts Council; Michael Spring, chair, Miami-Dade Cultural Arts
Council; and Edward Villella, artistic director7 Miami City Ballet.
Following the panelists' remarks, the floor will be open to questions
and comments from the audience.
The forum is a preface to a new study to be released in February by
the President's Committee and the Arts Education Partnership. Titled
"Gaining the Arts Advantage," the study will review arts education in
America's 16,000 school systems.
