A ceremony dedicating a new Primary Learning Center (PLC) at 12175
N.E. 12th Ct., part of W.J. Bryan Elementary School, will be held at
9 a.m. Thursday, March 11.
The 10-classroom PLC, located on land provided by the City of North
Miami and a short distance from the main school, opened for students
near the end of-the 1997-98 school year. The facility currently
serves about 270 prekindergarten and kindergarten students.
School officials and business and community leaders will participate
in the ceremony. The construction project is part of the Miami-Dade
County Public Schools' long-term building and renovation program.
