Miami Central Senior High School and its feeder pattern schools will
celebrate global education at an event titled "Celebrating Student
Achievement in a Multicultural World" on Friday, May 14, at 6 p.m.,
in Miami Central's auditorium and lobby, 1781 N.W. 95 Street.
The global fair and extravaganza will feature projects from Arcola
Lake, Benjamin Franklin, Broadmoor, Henry E. Reeves, Lakeview, Miami
Park, Van E. Blanton, West Little River, and Westview elementary
schools; Madison and Westview middle schools; and Miami Central
senior high school. "The celebration is a culmination of a year-long
learning experience that brought the world into our schools," said
Luis Bello, assistant principal at Benjamin Franklin Elementary
School and Global Committee chairperson.
