Want to go to college? Many students want to, but don't know what steps to take. That's why The National Association for College Admission Counseling and Miarni-Dade County Public Schools are sponsoring the 1999 National College Fair at the Radisson Centre, 777 N.W. 72 Avenue, on Sunday, February 7, from noon to 5 p.m.

Representatives from nearly 150 colleges and universities will be on hand to answer any questions students or parents may have. And here's the best part. Most of the representatives will be members of the admission committee at the college they represent so they can discuss admission requirements, financial aid, scholarships, and majors. You'll get your questions answered directly!

Representatives from Miami-Dade County Public Schools' College Assistance Program also will be on hand to answer questions about college planning, high school graduation requirements, and SAT as well as ACT scores. For the benefit of our diverse community, some of the advisors speak Spanish and Creole. A computer guidance lab will be available to students who want to search for scholarships, conduct interest surveys, or research colleges and careers.

Admission to the fair is free. All you need to bring is your desire to go to college.

So be there, Sunday, February 7, at the Radisson Centre. Your future awaits you. Call 305-995-1739 for more information. Media partners are
WPLG/TV 10's Children First and WLRN.
