More than 100 School Board members, administrators, teachers, and
parents from the 13 Miami-Dade public schools using the Comer program
are expected to participate in a one-day conference on Friday, Nov.
5, at the Miami Beach Ocean Resort, 3025 Collins Ave.
Named for Dr. James Comer of Yale University, the program involves
the whole school community in its decisions. Leading the event will
be Dr. Joanne Corbin, Director of Operations for the Yale University
School Development Program.
