Miami-Dade County Public Schools honored its corporate and community
partners at the 21st annual Dade Partners recognition ceremony held
on March 31. Winners were honored for their exemplary partnerships
with schools and students. Honorees were:
Small Profit Company, Tropical Fun Center for partnership with Campbell Drive Middle SchoolMid-Range Profit Company, Atlantic Gulf Communities for partnership with F.S. Tucker Elementary School
Large Profit Company, Costco Wholesale Club for partnership with West Homestead Elementary School
Non-profit, Aventura Marketing Council for partnerships with six schools in the Highland Oaks Middle School/Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School feeder pattern
Joint Venture, Toyota Technical Education Network (T-TEN) Advisory Committee for partnership with Miami Lakes Technical Education Center

Each winning partnership is an exceptional story of thoughtfulness
and concern for our public schools and the children who attend them.
The school system has one of the largest and most renowned business
partnership programs in the country. Currently more than 3,000
business partnerships provide $8 million in in-kind contributions to
M-DCPS. Businesses become Dade Partners by adopting a school,
donating personnel and financial resources, or participating in
special events and projects requiring specialized expertise.
