A ceremony dedicating an addition/renovation project at Flamingo Elementary School, 701 E. 33rd St., Hialeah, will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 13.

School officials and business and community leaders will participate in the ceremony.

The Flamingo project included the addition of a media center, an art and music complex, a science lab, a computer lab, two resource rooms, and an administration and guidance area. It is part of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools' long-term building and renovation program.
