DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS IS RECIPIENT OF A WMBM SPIRIT

Deputy Superintendent of Schools Henry C. Fraind has been selected to
receive the WMBM Spirit Award for education. The McKinney, Greer,
Jones Education Award will be presented by the radio station to
Fraind at a ceremony on Friday, Nov. 12, 7 p.m., at the Hotel
Intercontinental, 100 Chopin Plaza, downtown Miami.
The Spirit Awards recognize South Florida's unsung heroes who have
committed themselves to a career of making Miami-Dade County a better
place to live. Fraind, now second in command of the nation's
fourth-largest school system, has worked on behalf of public school
children in Miami-Dade County for more than 30 years. For further
