Students from Jack D. Gordon Elementary School will participate in a walk-a-thon to benefit the United Way of Miami-Dade on Thursday, October 28, at 8:45 a.m. The school is located at 14600 Country Walk Drive.

Jack Gordon Elementary has been the top fund-raising school in Miami-Dade County Public Schools' United Way Student Campaign for the last four years. Its students raised more than $30,000 during last year's campaign and earned the top fund-raising school in the nation title.
