BOB GRAHAM EDUCATION CENTER TO BE DEDICATED OCT. 28

The new Bob Graham Education Center, named for Florida's senior U.S. senator, will be dedicated on Monday, Oct. 28 at 9 a.m. The school is located at 15901 N.W. 79 Ave., Miami Lakes. Sen. Graham and other community leaders will attend.

The 82,283 sq. ft. elementary school includes 1,060 student stations on an 18-acre site. The architect for the $9,722,096 project is PJB Associates and the contractor is S & L Construction.

"This dynamic new education center honors a true civic leader," said School Board Chair Perla Tabares Hantman, who represents District 4. "Senator Graham has done so much for our country and our local community. We are pleased to dedicate a school in his name."
