Two Miami-Dade County Public Schools' employees will receive Green
Family Foundation American Values Awards at a 6:30 p.m. dinner on
Monday, Mar. 20, at the Omni Colonnade Hotel, 180 Aragon Avenue,
Coral Gables. The winners, both employed at Robert Morgan Vocational
Technical Institute, are as follows:
Virginia Calehuff, Business Technology Education Instructor
and Virtual District Curriculum Coordinator, and
Andrea Farmer, Dental Assisting Instructor and Certified

The award recognizes public service employees whose commitment to
their profession and community far exceeds the scope and requirements
of their individual jobs, and who display exemplary volunteer
service. Each winner will receive $5,000 from the Green Family
Foundation. The Green Family Foundation American Values Awards is a
program managed by the United Way of Miami-Dade. For more
information, call Ivette Zayas-Bazan, at 305-646-7116.
