Due to inclement weather caused by Hurricane Irene, all Miami-Dade
County Public Schools' activities, athletic events, and
adult/community school classes are cancelled for today and tomorrow.
All Saturday school and scheduled High School Competency Test (HSCT)
and Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) testing is cancelled
for tomorrow. Testing will be rescheduled.
Normal school operations are expected to resume Monday, Oct. 18,
1999.
Students, parents, and employees of the school system are encouraged
to tune in to local TV and radio stations, including School
Board-owned WLRN-TV, Channel 17 and WLRN Radio 91.3 FM for
updates.
