ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER NAMED ISUZU AFTERSCHOOL HERO

Rosalind Bennett, a teacher at North County Elementary School, will
be presented with the Isuzu Afterschool Hero of the Year Award at 2
p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the school, 3250 N.W. 207 St., Opa-locka.
Bennett has worked with students in the afterschool program for five
years, mostly in reading and math. She also is involved with other
activities including cheerleading and "Red Ribbon Day."
As a regional recipient of the award, Bennett's school will receive a
cash grant from The Entertainment Industry Foundation and a Gateway
computer system from the Greater Miami Isuzu Dealers Association.
Bennett also becomes a finalist for the national Isuzu Afterschool
Hero of the Year Award.
