A ceremony dedicating a major addition project at Kenwood Elementary School, 9300 S.W. 79th Ave., will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Mar. 23.

School officials and business and community leaders will participate in the ceremony.

The Kenwood Elementary School project included the addition of 10 classrooms, a band room, an art suite, a science lab, a technology lab, a dining room and a multipurpose area. The project is part of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools' long-term building and renovation program.
