Miami-Dade County Public Schools placed among the top 10 in a
national survey of "The Best 100 Communities for Music Education in
America."
The online survey was sponsored by the American Music Conference
(AMC), the National Association for Music Education, the Music
Teachers National Association and the National School Boards
Association.
Respondents included teachers, school administrators, school board
members, parents and others in communities nationwide. An overall
score for each community was calculated based upon the answers to
each of the questions in the survey.
