M-DCPS READING PROJECT TO PUT ‘BOOK IN EVERY CHILD’S
HANDS’ IN MEMORY OF LATE ADMINISTRATOR

As part of the school system's "Just Read" campaign, the Division of
Language Arts/Reading will hold a ceremony at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13,
in honor of the late Norma B. Bossard to donate hundreds of books to
children at Jackson Memorial Hospital's Diagnostic Treatment Center,
1611 N.W. 12 Ave.
Ms. Bossard, who died of cancer last June, headed the district's
language arts and reading programs. It was her dream to put a book in
every child's hand so not only would they learn to read, but also
love to read.
