OUTSTANDING SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS TO BE HONORED MAY 9

Outstanding school volunteers will be honored at a 10
a.m. ceremony Friday, May 9 at the Radisson Mart Centre, 777
N.W. 72 Ave., Miami.
Top volunteers for Miami-Dade County's public schools
will be recognized in the following categories: youth (ages
20 and under); adult (21-61); and senior (62 or older). Also
being honored are this school year's winners of a Parent of
the Month recognition sponsored by Wachovia Banks and The
Miami Herald.
Tickets are $21 each or $210 for a table of 10. The
deadline for reservations is Monday, May 5. For more
