SHALALA, SLESNICK, TO SHARE 'PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY' DUTIES AT PONCE DE LEON MIDDLE COMMUNITY SCHOOL, NOV. 14 November 13, 2001 University of Miami President Donna E. Shalala and Coral Gables Mayor Don Slesnick will share "Principal for a Day" duties at Ponce de Leon Middle Community School's annual career day on Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. The school is located at 5801 Augusto Street, Coral Gables. Community leaders representing law enforcement, medical, hospitality, insurance, real estate and service industries will visit classrooms to discuss careers with students. The event is part of a year-long career awareness program to provide guidance to students.
