NORTH BEACH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TO HOST
BEST PRACTICES CONFERENCE
MIAMI - One of
Florida's top-honored public schools, a 2004 Governor's
Sterling Award winner, will reveal the secrets of its
success on Wednesday, Oct. 27.
North Beach Elementary School's Best Practices Conference
will showcase the school's award-winning business practices.
Participants will learn ways to achieve performance
excellence and increased productivity. The conference will
run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the school, 4100 Prairie
Ave., Miami Beach.
The school was one of only two Florida public schools to
receive the prestigious 2004 Governor's Sterling Award.
Dante B. Fascell Elementary, also a Miami-Dade County public
school, was the other. The award recognizes organizations
and businesses in Florida that have achieved performance
excellence within their management and operations. North
Beach Elementary also has received an "A" rating under the
state's A-Plus Plan for Excellence for the last five
years.
