Miami-Dade County Public Schools' School Choice Program is
featured on the U.S. Department of Education (USDOE)'s
website as a strong, innovative program.
Considered a model for school choice, the program was
prominently featured in the USDOE's recently issued study,
Creating Strong District School Choice Programs.
"The study confirms that our School Board's investment in
public school choice initiatives is one that not only
continues to reap dividends for our students, but also
brands M-DCPS as a preeminent leader in the area of school
choice and parental options," said Michael Bell, Assistant
Superintendent, School Choice and Parental Options.
