ONLY FOUR
DAYS REMAIN FOR MIAMI-DADE PUBLIC SCHOOLS STUDENTS TO
REGISTER
August 10, 2004
Only four days remain for parents to register their children
for the first day of classes at Miami-Dade County Public
Schools.
"We are committed to making sure that teaching and learning
take place from the very first day of school. All of our
efforts are aimed at this goal," said Superintendent of
Schools Rudolph F. (Rudy) Crew. "Parents need to register
students as soon as possible so that we can have everything
from textbooks to class schedules in place."
Parents or legal guardians should visit their local school
to register children who are new to the district. They must
provide a student health examination report, certificate of
immunization, proo Ðf of age, proof of address and
Disclosure at Time of Registration form.
For help in identifying the school their children should
attend, parents may call Attendance Services at 305-883-5651
or visit www.dadeschools.net.
