CORAL GABLES SENIOR HIGH TO RECEIVE NEW AQUARIUM

Miami Seaquarium Donates New Tank to Vandalized School

September 20, 2004

The Miami Seaquarium and Coral Gables Commissioner Bill Kerdyk will donate a new, 125-gallon aquarium to Coral Gables Senior High School at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the school, 450 Bird Road.

The gift replaces an aquarium destroyed by vandals at the school last spring. The vandals also killed a number of exotic fish and damaged much of the school.

For additional information, contact the school's principal, Alex Martinez, at 305-443-4871.
