WLRN TO HOST HAITIAN PRIME MINISTER ON RADIO PROGRAM

WLRN Public Radio 91.3 FM will host Haiti's new prime
minister, Gerard Latortue, for a panel discussion of recent
events in Haiti on Saturday, May 8 from 3-4 p.m.
The forum will be broadcast live. Scheduled participants
include State Rep. Phillip Brutus, North Miami City
Councilman Jacques Despinosse and local Haitian community
leader Leone Hermantin. Miami Herald columnist Andres
Oppenheimer will moderate.
WLRN will partner with Haitian Television Network (HTN),
Island Television, Radio Carnevale and WFOR &endash; CBS 4
for this event. Questions and comments will be taken ahead
of time for consideration during the discussion. They can be
