FOUR MAST ACADEMY GRADUATES TO ATTEND MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Four MAST (Maritime and Science Technology) Academy seniors will attend the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) this fall. MAST Academy has 20 percent of its graduating class attending some of the top universities in the country, including such Ivy League schools as Dartmouth, Columbia and Yale.

Three students will attend the Coast Guard Academy. MAST Academy has the only Coast Guard JROTC program in the nation created by an Act of Congress. Ninety-seven percent of the graduating class will attend college.
