M-DCPS STUDENTS TO DISCUSS ECOSYSTEM WITH PEERS IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO, MEXICO

Twenty students from Miami Springs Middle School will participate in a videoconference with their peers in Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico to discuss the Caribbean ecosystem Wednesday, March 24 from 12-3 p.m. at the Bankers Club, 1 Biscayne Tower, 14th Floor, 2 South Biscayne Blvd, Miami.

The students will compare and contrast the measurements that they have taken of their local environment as part of the GLOBE program, a hands-on, school-based science and education program. The U.S. Department of State is sponsoring the conference.
