NASA OFFICIALS, ASTRONAUT TO VISIT CAROL CITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Kennedy Space Center Director James Kennedy, an astronaut and other NASA officials will visit Carol City Elementary School, 4375 N.W. 173 Drive, on Monday, April 12, at 10 a.m. to discuss NASA's new space exploration vision.

Last May, Carol City Elementary was selected as one of 50 schools in the nation to participate in the NASA Explorer School (NES) Program. This program, which extends over three years, allows partner schools to apply NASA science, mathematics, and technology knowledge to real-world issues and problems and to participate in special events and other activities.
