Rose L. Martin, principal of D.A. Dorsey Educational Center
was a finalist for the 2004 Principal Achievement Award for
Outstanding Leadership at a recent luncheon hosted by the
Florida Association of School Administrators in Marco
Island.
"Ms. Martin is a fine example of leadership in Miami-Dade
schools. She exemplifies the district's commitment to our
students and parents," said Miami-Dade Schools
Superintendent Rudolph F. Crew.
The award was founded 16 years ago to highlight innovative
principals who are considered leaders by their students,
parents, and staff.
