TEACHER RECRUITMENT FAIR TO DRAW 500 CANDIDATES TO MIAMI-DADE MAY 14-15

Some 500 prospective teachers from South Florida and across the nation are expected to attend the Miami-Dade school district's first annual teacher recruitment fair Friday, May 14, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday, May 15, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Radisson Miami Hotel, 1601 Biscayne Blvd.

Called M-DCPS TeacherFAIR 2004, the event is the cornerstone of the district's effort to draw more top-quality teachers to Miami-Dade's public schools.

Principals from a number of schools will be on hand to interview and hire the most-qualified candidates on the spot.
