NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY’S BUS TOUR MIAMI – Nova Southeastern University’s Education Express IV Bus Tour will make its final stop at Dante B. Fascell Elementary School, Friday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. The school is located at 15625 S.W. 80th St. Riding the bus are approximately 30 passengers including the 2006 Florida Teacher of the Year, Sam Bennett; the 2005 Florida Teacher of the Year, Kerri Wailueski; Governor Bush Teacher-In-Residence, Sharon Burnette; and Nova Southeastern University Provost, Dr. H. Well Singleton. Fascell was selected as one of eight schools throughout Florida to participate in the three-day event to highlight three main objectives: promoting higher standards for education, highlighting best education practices, and supporting communities working to improve schools for all students.
