SUPERINTENDENT’S ANNUAL MEETINGS, COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS MIAMI – Superintendent of Schools Rudy Crew will hold a series of six meetings at school sites throughout the District for students, parents and the community. The meetings take place January 31-March 20. The meetings will begin at 6 p.m. with Dr. Crew’s presentation followed by breakout sessions from 7-8:30 p.m. A resource center with information about District programs and initiatives also will be available from 5:30-6 p.m. and 8-8:45 p.m. The theme of these meetings is “Student Futures: Real World Promises.” Each meeting will share strategies and address issues of importance to elementary, middle, and high school students and parents, which impact student academic performance and life after graduation. The meetings also will provide information about the District’s budget and legislative agenda. The meetings are as scheduled:
