MDCPS CELEBRATES EXCEPTIONAL STUDENT EDUCATION WEEK, OCT. 1-5

            Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) will celebrate Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Week, October 1-5, with the theme, “Step Into The Spotlight,” aimed at highlighting the abilities of students enrolled in special education.

            Schools will host a number of events, activities, presentations and trainings on a variety of topics, as well as recognizing teachers, parents and support staff for the assistance they give to students with disabilities.

            M-DCPS provides services to meet the diverse needs of more than 46,000 students with disabilities and their parents. ESE programs focus on preparing students to become successful in school, work and life.
