MIAMI DOLPHINS DEFENSIVE END JASON TAYLOR JOINS
SUPERINTENDENT CREW IN CONGRATULATING STUDENTS
MIAMI – Superintendent of Schools Rudy Crew and Miami Dolphins Defensive End Jason Taylor met recently to record a phone message for students with perfect attendance and to discuss opportunities of developing programs for M-DCPS students in conjunction with Taylor’s nonprofit foundation.
The phone message congratulates students for achieving perfect attendance during the first grading period. The message will be delivered to the homes of every student who accomplished perfect attendance from the first day of school, August 20 to the last day of the grading period, October 25.
Crew stated, “Jason Taylor is a role model who embodies the District’s values and that of legendary football coach Paul ‘Bear’ Bryant who always told his players, ‘You must prepare for your future, and that key is education.’”
“Education is the factor that levels the playing field for all children,” Taylor said. “We must have the will and courage to work together to instill the important values that will give all children an opportunity to succeed.”
