To officially declare Flamingo Elementary School as the State of Florida’s only NASA Explorer School. The goal of the NASA Explorer Schools Program is to incorporate NASA content and programs into the teaching and learning of mathematics, science, geography and technology standards. Flamingo Elementary is one of 30 schools nationally to be selected as a NASA Explorer School.
