Supt. Crew, Chair Barrera attend Family Involvement Day at Riverside Elementary MIAMI — Miami-Dade Schools Superintendent Rudy Crew and School Board Chair Agustin J. Barrera were part of the Family Involvement Day celebration at Riverside Elementary School this morning. Sponsored by a grant from Target, the event is designed to connect schools with their PTAs and community members to make families feel welcome in their schools. Joining the superintendent and chair were Miami Mayor Manny Diaz and Miami-Dade County Council of PTAs/PTSAs President Mindy Gould. The goal of Family Involvement Day is to build family partnerships and PTA membership. The event took place at 12 otherMiami-Dade public schools.
