ARTIST ROMERO BRITTO CREATES BEARS TO BENEFIT M-DCPS MIAMI – Renowned Brazilian artist Romero Britto has partnered with Miami-Dade County Public Schools on a creative fundraiser to help support tutoring in nine schools. Britto created a teddy bear sculpture in six different designs and named to represent the aspirations for students: Fun, Love, Joy, Cuddly, Happy and Hope. The sculptures, which are made of poly-resin and measure 5.5 inches, sell for $250. Part of the price will go to support Miami-Dade County Public Schools through the Foundation for New Education Initiative.
