CHECK PRESENTED TO MIAMI CAROL CITY SENIOR HIGH STUDENTS WHO ATTENDED SUCCESS ACADEMY TUTORING

MIAMI – Students at Miami Carol City Senior High were presented with an oversized check for their participation in the Superintendent’s Success Academy tutoring initiative. The initiative helped students in struggling schools prepare for the state exam. The students earned money for attending each tutoring session.  The check for the Carol City’s total participation was $83,130. Each student’s share will be calculated and put in a bank account that has been set up for them.
