INNOVATIVE, INTERACTIVE iPREP ACADEMY
HIGH SCHOOL SET TO OPEN FALL 2010

The iPrep Academy, billed as a high school for the new millennium, is slated to open in the fall in Miami’s business, cultural and economic hub. A magnet school, the academy will be housed in the heart of downtown Miami at the School Board Administration Building Annex, 1500 Biscayne Blvd.

Enrollment for the 2010-2011 school year is limited and open only for incoming 11th-grade students.  iPrep Academy will offer them a rigorous curriculum consisting of honors and advanced placement courses, and dynamic instruction focusing on leadership and problem-solving skills.

Students will have a direct connection to Miami’s vibrant business community, which will allow for many internship opportunities in private industry and local government.  They will incorporate hands-on activities and real world experience as part of everyday coursework.

iPrep Academy also will provide students with a technology-rich environment with full, wireless access, as well as laptop computers for each student to use at home, and in online and traditional classrooms
