The 34th Annual Community Partners Recognition Awards recognizes exemplary Dade Partners and school volunteers for their outstanding service to Miami-Dade’s public schools. In addition, the 2012 Superintendent Choice Awards will be presented to Univision/Telefutura 69 for its support of mentoring initiatives, sponsoring teacher and student programs and major contributions to the Teacher of the Year recognition.  Attorney Julie A. S. Williamson, of Akerman Senterfitt LLP, also will be honored for her involvement with the Foundation for New Education Initiatives, Inc. and the Parent Academy.
