MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO RE-OPEN ON TUESDAY, AUG. 28

MIAMI – Superintendent of Schools Alberto M. Carvalho announced today that all Miami-Dade County Public Schools, adult centers and offices will be open on Tuesday, Aug. 28.  Students and employees should report to their regular locations at their regular times.

“Principals visited their schools this morning and conducted a needs assessment, and we have a go for all schools,” said Superintendent Carvalho.  “We are dealing with some minor air conditioning issues, and FPL is on-site where needed.  They have made the schools a number one priority, to ensure for a smooth re-opening.”
