The inaugural event will recognize M-DCPS alumni who have made outstanding contributions in various fields and professions. In addition, the alumni’s favorite educator will be honored for providing inspiration and guidance to their student. Tickets for the event are $75.
Inductees include actor Andy Garcia, former U.S. Sen. Bob Graham, historian Dorothy Jenkins Fields, Federal Reserve Bank executive Juan del Busto, wildlife educator Ron Magill, Amazon.com founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, molecular geneticist Wendy Chung, baseball Hall of Famer Andre Dawson, aviator Barrington Irving, and author Brad Meltzer, as well as astronauts Dominic L. Pudwill Gorie, Thomas K. Mattingly, William B. Lenoir and Winston Scott. |
