M-DCPS PROVIDES NUTRITIOUS MEALS TO STUDENTS
DURING THE SUMMER
MIAMI – Miami-Dade County Public Schools will be sponsoring the Food Service Summer Program for Children in a number of eligible schools during summer school, from June, July and August. For individual school’s dates please refer to the list attached.
The program is similar to the National School Lunch Program. It provides nutritionally balanced meals to children regardless of race, color, sex, disability, age or national origin, during the summer. All children 18 years old and younger are eligible for a lunch and/or breakfast at no charge. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Any person who believes he or she has been discriminated against any USDA-related activity, should write or call immediately to:
