To support the District’s effort to enhance prevention, response, mitigation and recovery as it relates to critical incidents and overall readiness.
The goal of this exercise is to familiarize and assess school staff, police, and fire rescue personnel with crisis management in Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Attendees will learn about school lockdown and/or evacuation procedures, timing by Police and Fire Rescue when responding to an incident, and how the Incident Command System controls a situation.
