Superintendent of Schools will receive a physical during his walk through of UHealth Medical Center at Miami Jackson Senior High School

Miami-Dade County Public Schools partnered with UHealth-University of Miami Health System to provide a medical home for M-DCPS employees, their dependents and retirees who are enrolled in the school system’s insurance plan. The Center will be staffed by a University of Miami physician, a nurse practitioner and nursing staff who will provide lab services, physicals, nursing support, wellness education and direct referrals to UM specialists.

The Center will open August 18 and the hours are Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Appointments can be made online and walk-in visits are available. Patients must bring their Cigna ID card.
