TWO M-DCPS STUDENTS WIN TOP STATE HONOR Two Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) students were recently recognized with Florida’s top science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) honor at the 2014 Sunshine State Scholars program in Orlando.
The two-day awards and recruitment event recognized remarkable 11th grade students for their exemplary achievements and provided Florida colleges and universities an opportunity to meet and recruit the students. The Sunshine State Scholars program is a partnership between the Florida Department of Education, the Florida Education Foundation, the State University System of Florida as well as the Division of Florida Colleges. # # # 14-JJS/031/DF |
